Frequently Asked Questions
How often do you have litters?
At this time we have 2-3 litters per year, these litters are with us for two months in mom's belly and two months outside of it! Mommy dogs are bred as advised by our veterinarian.

How does your waitlist work?
We have a "waitlist" of people who are interested in specific litter pairings or colors, we will go through all of our messages once we have the litter planned with an estimated due date. We let everyone know who has shown interest how much the litter will be, the health testing, health guarantee, etc before posting the litter on our site. Occasionally we may miss a message, so please contact us again if we don't update you on the litter confirmation.

Are your dogs health tested?
Yes! Our dogs' health testing varies. At a minimum, our dogs have genetic testing for 200+ diseases through Embark to make sure our puppies will be healthy, most are also certified by OFA (orthopedic foundation for animals) for their hips, eyes, elbows, and heart. Some dogs we have gotten as adults that have not had their OFA certifications yet, our reproduction vet hosts OFA clinics twice a year, so we wait until that time to have them certified.

Do you ever have adults for sale?
Yes we do! Since our dogs live together it is crucial that they all get along. Dogs are animals at the end of the day, and sometimes they can be cranky with one another or they purely don't get along. It is important for us to evaluate our dogs and see which will be the best fit for us, and which will be best suited for a different home.

How much is your deposit?
Our deposits are typically $300, the remaining balance is due at pick up or one week before delivery. For deposits we accept CashApp, GoodDog, PayPal, Venmo, cash, and checks, however, checks are only accepted at least 2 weeks before puppies go home so we can wait for it to clear. Buyer is responsible for app transaction fees. If the check does not clear, we do not reserve your puppy for you, and you must choose another form of payment as listed above. When you pick up your puppy, we ONLY accept cash, so please come prepared. We will not accept any other form of payment during pick up.

What if there isn't a gender or color in the litter that I wanted?
You must tell us which color or gender you want when you make your deposit. If we do not have the preferred color/gender, your deposit can be refunded, moved to another litter, or a different available puppy. We cannot guarantee specific coloring such as a dog being as dark or as light as you hoped.

Can I come see the parents?
Of course! Once a breeding is confirmed we allow visitors. Keep in mind we meet outside, so make sure to check the weather! We are usually flexible but please reach out so we can schedule something!

Are deposits refundable?
No. Unless we do not have a puppy to provide. Deposits are not refundable, a deposit shows you are making a commitment to one of our puppies.

Can I bring my dog to meet the puppies?
NO. We do not allow you to bring any animal to meet the puppies, it is a liability. Your pet can track in harmful diseases or injure a puppy. If you bring your pet on premises, you will be asked to leave and your deposit will not be refunded. Our puppies safety comes first.

Can I bring my children to meet the puppies?
Of course! They will be best friends after all! However, due to an incident where a child dropped and injured a puppy, children are not allowed to pick up puppies alone, the parent must assist the child while on our premises, this is for the safety of the puppies.

Do you have a health guarantee?
Yes we do, our health guarantee is for 1 year. This is for genetic conditions we test through Embark, and congenital conditions that may unexpectedly appear. This does not include illnesses or parasites as those can be transmitted by something as simple as a walk.

Can I get a discount if I buy two?
No, we do not discount multiple puppy purchases in a litter because we do not recommend it. Littermate Syndrome is a very possible issue to arise as the puppies age, they can develop separation anxiety, co-dependency, or aggression. It does not happen in all circumstances, but we would hate for a puppy to be returned due to behavioral issues regarding Littermate Syndrome. We recommend waiting at least 6 months before adding another puppy to your family.

When can I choose my puppy?
Puppies are chosen in order of deposit, for example: (we have a litter of 6 boys and 3 girls, you have 2nd pick female, you must wait for the first female to be chosen before you visit and choose your pup.) They can be chosen via video chat if the drive is too far, or visited and chosen after they receive their first set of shots at 6 weeks old. Puppies go home any time after 8 weeks of age, they will be bathed, vaccinated, vet examined, dewormed, and have a nail trim before going home.

Do you deliver?
Yes we do, we deliver puppies by plane in cabin or by car. We will never fly our dogs or puppies in cargo. Buyer is responsible for the cost of delivery. If you would like to fly to Wisconsin we will meet you at these airports: CWA, RHI, MSP, MSN.

Can I breed my puppy?
We very rarely offer breeding rights. We are finding puppies loving pet homes not breeding homes. Occasionally if we have an exceptional show-quality line, or are retiring the parents of the litter, we may allow full registration. Full registration typically costs 1.5x - 2x that of limited, and health testing is required. The registration type of the litter is always limited, we have had a few expect breeding rights and be confused when the AKC papers do not have it, it is your job to ask us about it, as we do not hand it out to just anyone. You're welcome to contact us to discuss further.

Can I return my dog/puppy?
Yes, we take back our dogs and puppies and will either keep them or try to find them a suitable home.
